Katie Campbell, Co- Founder and Director (Creative and Communications)
Katie is the creative force behind FireHosiery’s beautiful legwear collection.
A former competition lawyer, Katie is passionate about patterned hosiery, and is rarely ever spotted with bare legs!
Katie’s fascination with patterned hosiery was sparked during a year spent in Japan, where she studied design and the art of Sado (tea ceremony).
Katie’s meticulous attention to detail (obviously developed while being a top tier corporate lawyer!) and keen design-eye is reflected in FireHosiery’s exquisite patterns and designs.
Katie also heads up the communications and public relations division of FireHosiery.

Izhar Basha, Co-Founder and Director (Strategy and Operations)
Izhar heads up the operations and strategy of FireHosiery.
Prior to co-founding FireHosiery, Izhar worked as a senior associate at a leading Australian corporate law firm, where he developed a depth of commercial strategy and legal skills.
However, it was his keen eye for fashion that set Izhar apart from the crowd at Clayton Utz – with his fancy tailored jackets and shirts (usually self-designed) and his obsession with the “perfect fit” in clothing.
A true entrepreneur at heart, Izhar started his first business at the tender age of 12, and then went on to found a string of businesses - from logistics to men’s fashion to consumer electronics- by his mid-20s.

Marty Yao, Manager of China Operations
Marty heads FireHosiery’s China operations and works closely with the team to ensure that all overseas processes and systems are running smoothly.
Marty holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Wollongong University (Australia), and has spent 6 years in the Chinese operations division of a large multi-national food wholesaler.
On the weekends, Marty loves to take his wife out and try new seafood restaurants. His favourite dish is shanbei (Chinese style scallops).

Black Liang, Production Manager
Black is FireHosiery’s Production Manager, and is responsible for co-ordinating the entire process from raw material input to final product output. Black has 12 years of experience in the hosiery manufacturing industry, and started out as a Lonati knitting machine engineer.
Black is a perfectionist, a trait that is highly regarded by FireHosiery. Apart from loving everything technical in relation to hosiery manufacturing, Black’s other passions include playing mah-jong with his friends and enjoying Hennessey.

Vincent Hu, Technical Specialist
Vincent works alongside Black, and provides technical support during production to ensure that all FireHosiery products are of the highest quality.
Vincent acquired his technical expertise from Luzhou Vocational and Technical College. He also represented his college in basketball, and is an avid NBA fan.

Tracey Chan, Head of Quality Control
Tracey is the Head of Quality Control at FireHosiery. She graduated with honours in a Bachelor of Textiles Design from Hunan University, and has worked in the quality assurance department in Guangzhou’s leading knitting factory for over 15 years.
Tracey’s love for hosiery, attention to detail and meticulous QC processes ensures that all of FireHosiery’s products are made to the highest standards.
In her spare time, Tracey loves to go fishing with her husband and enjoys the peace and serenity of nature.

Jack Zhang, Logistics
Jack manages all of FireHosiery’s international inbound logistics and ensures that all our products arrive to us securely and on time.
Jack studied logistics management at Jimei University, Xiamen and has worked with a large conglomerate freight forwarding company, China Shipping Group for 4 years.
Jack loves KTV karaoke and practices singing in the shower.

Lucy Chen, Design Assistant
Lucy works with Katie and the design team to implement design concepts and inspirations into 3D visual prototypes. Lucy is a skilled wonder-woman at the Lonati design software and can implement the finest of design details. She also works closely with Black and Vincent to ensure that FireHosiery’s design concepts are perfectly produced.
In her spare time, Lucy loves walking her dog, Xiaopang (“little fatty”).

Rakesh Kumar, Web Engineer
Rakesh is the mastermind behind FireHosiery’s user-friendly online store. Rakesh has a Bachelor in Mathematics from Patna University and a Masters in Information Technology from IGNOU
Rakesh loves problem solving and innovating. He prides himself in being ahead of the game in e-commerce and online retail platforms – something he finds a little more interesting than mathematics.
