Tomorrow morning I’m heading to the Hunter Valley to celebrate Christmas with family and friends in the vineyards. I’m just so excited to catch up with everyone and enjoy some fine wines and great food! But of course, the first thing on my mind is what to wear to Christmas lunch…

I’ve decided on this divine red silk crepe asymmetrical drape dress from Gary Bigeni that has been sitting in my wardrobe waiting for the perfect occasion – and what better occasion than Christmas?!

The modern look and asymmetrical cut of the dress lends itself perfectly to some of our geometric patterned tights such as Viva (below left) and Imbroglio (below right):

The bold pattern of these tights will look sensational against the red dress, adding texture and pulling the entire look together. 

For shoes, I’ll be wearing my favourite black snakeskin wedges that I designed myself at Shoes of Prey (pictured below with our Imbroglio tights):

I just love how the wedge shape and snakeskin finish extends the pattern of my tights, which has the much desired effect of elongating the legs!

To complete the look, I’m going to accessorise with a chunky black necklace, such as this one below:
