Welcome to the FireHosiery fashion blog. This is where I will be keeping you updated on the latest legwear trends from around the globe, and sharing my inspiration for FireHosiery’s exciting new designs and styles.

By way of introduction, I am Katie, the founder of FireHosiery. I would like to start by telling you a little bit about myself and my inspiration behind creating FireHosiery.

My passion for hosiery began during my travels throughout Japan and Europe, when I fell in love with all of the beautiful hosiery on offer – from gorgeous patterned fishnets, to intricate jacquard designed sheers. It was so disappointing to come back to the somewhat uninspiring hosiery in our local Australian stores.

My initial solution was to bolster my personal hosiery collection by buying up in bulk whilst overseas, so that I would have enough to see me through until my next overseas trip.  In my previous job as a corporate lawyer, I loved wearing gorgeous patterned hosiery to jazz up a plain business suit, and soon acquired the reputation as “the girl with the hot hosiery”. 

However, the desire for beautiful, quality hosiery at my fingertips eventually overcame me, and this led to the creation of FireHosiery.

FireHosiery is the first Australian hosiery brand to sell exclusively online. It is my aim to ensure that FireHosiery provides customers with the ultimate online consumer experience, through its user-friendly website and unrivalled customer care.  

I hope that you can join me on my journey through fancy fishnets, opulent opaques and stunning sheers, in my bid to bring you beautiful hosiery at the click of a mouse!
